He is survived by: his wife Audrey Kay Atwood Pierce; his daughters, Tammy Anderson (Clifton, Jr.) of Boomer and Melissa Pierce (Douglas Smith) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Courtney Anderson of Purlear, Mackenzie Shew of Wilkesboro and Colby Shew of Wilkesboro; his great grandchildren, Liam Anderson of Purlear and Brenlan Lankford of Wilkesboro; and his sisters, Valerie Andrews of Boomer and Rosanna Bishop (John) of Lenior. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
