It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Denise Graybeal Ward of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Pete, Faye Ford and Wayne Graybeal. She is survived by: her parents, Jeff Graybeal and Betty Ford Graybeal; her husband Wayne Ward; her children, Allie of Boone, Waylon of Boone and Addisyn of Boone; her siblings, Dustin Ford (Hannah) of Boone and Sarah Clark of Boone; her nephews, Luke Ford of Boone, Hank Ford of Boone and Ty Clark of Boone; her niece Alixas Clark of Boone; and her grandmother Linda Graybeal of Boone.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wayne Ward for the trust fund for her children.
