It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Denise Graybeal Ward of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Pete, Faye Ford and Wayne Graybeal. She is survived by: her parents, Jeff Graybeal and Betty Ford Graybeal; her husband Wayne Ward; her children, Allie of Boone, Waylon of Boone and Addisyn of Boone; her siblings, Dustin Ford (Hannah) of Boone and Sarah Clark of Boone; her siblings' children, Luke Ford of Boone, Hank Ford of Boone, Ty Clark of Boone and Alixas Clark of Boone; and her grandmother Linda Graybeal of Boone.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wayne Ward for the trust fund for her children.
