Barbara will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Barbara is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Barbara’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her husband Roland Moy of Boone; her daughters, Rhonda Lynn Lawrence and Sherry Elizabeth Sparks; and her stepchildren, Rhonda Jean Burgess and Randall Moy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (183 E King St, Boone, NC 28607).
