She was predeceased by: her sibling Bobbie; her parents, McCoy Bingham and Kenova Morrell Bingham; her son Thomas Townsend; and her granddaughter Kristi Scroggs.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Townsend; her daughter Kathy Townsend Scroggs; her son-in-law Eddie Scroggs; her granddaughter Kelly Scroggs Jones; and her siblings, Mary Jo Pritchard, Dwight Bingham and Danny Bingham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
