Betsy J. Norris Stanbery Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Betsy J. Norris Stanbery (Boone, North Carolina) is shared. Betsy, born on February 18, 1933, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Norris and Nina Norris; her husband Harold Stanbery; her daughters, Wilda Honeycutt and Brenda Lentz; her grandson Anthony Koroll; and her siblings, Estel Norris, Coy Norris, Raevon Norris, Jessie Padgett, Maebelle Denny, Unadell Ward and Bertie Norris.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Stanbery (Glenda), David Stanbery, Mark Stanbery (Sandra) and Richard Stanbery (Heather); and her son-in-law Johnny Lentz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethelview Methodist Church (193 Ridge Rd, Boone, NC 28607).
