It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lee Burkett (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willet Burkett and Carrie Burkett; and her brother BJ Burkett. She is survived by: her children, Rick Cornejo of Lenior, Marsha Greene (Clyde) of Deep Gap and Carrie Mitchell (Bede) of Statesboro, GA.; her grandchildren, Alana Williams, Alicia Phillips (Todd), Akesha McMillan (Josh), Ramona Hamby and Beverly Sturgill (Rodney); her great grandchildren, Josiah, Hayden, Kallen Williams, Braden Phillips, Brantley and Declan McMillan; her grandchildren, Mack Hamby, Chase Phillips (Abby), Chance Phillips and Violet Sturgill; and her nephew Johnny Burkett.
