He is survived by: his children, Keri Wiley (John) of Kannapolis, NC, Teri Shoemake of Boone, NC and Billy Shoemake of Boone, NC; the mother of his children Betty E. Shoemake of Boone, NC; his grandchildren, Holli Rhinehart of Concord, NC, Luke, Laci Wiley of Kannapolis, NC, Jada and Bralee Shoemake of Boone, NC; his great grandchild Salli Belle Rhinehart of Concord, NC; his sisters, Betty Milligan of Greenville, SC, Mary Miller of Hickory, NC, Deborah Sloan of Jackson, NJ and Patricia Shoemake of Morganton, NC; his brother-in-law Walt Lewis of Boone, NC.; his cousin Barbara Snyder (John) of Boone, NC; and his nephew Jeff Winkler (Sonya) of Boone, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
