He is survived by: his wife Gelene Andrews Atwood; and his children, Mary Elizabeth Bowman (Ray) of Mebane, Deborah Sue McDuffie (George) of Gibsonville, Boyden "Toby" Okley Atwood, Jr. (Nina) of Waynesville, Stanley Thomas Atwood (Patty) of Apex and Stephen James Atwood (Kaye) of Waynesville. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
