It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Boyd Cook of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Boyd and MaryKendall Greene Cook; his nephew Kelly West; and his siblings-in-law, Jim West, Jerry West and Ruby West.
He is survived by: his wife Ann West Cook; his daughters, Debra Ann Cook Critcher (Randy Nick) of Boone and Melissa Lynn Cook Moody (Robert Lynn) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Cody Ryan (Shauna Stadelmaier Critcher) of Boone, Ethan Nick (Macy Scarborough Critcher) of Boone, Madison Elizabeth Critcher of Boone, Michael Robert Moody of Hickory and Morgan Lynn Moody Fortner (Daniel Andrew) of Waterloo, SC; his great grandchild Hadley Layne Critcher; his sister-in-law Carolyn West; his nieces, Kandy West Taylor (Randy), Kathy West Norville (Scott), Kimberly West Via (Gary), Katie West Every (Colin) and Anita West Rogers (Michael); his nephew Keith West (Hope); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tabatha Wilcox (Scotty), Jordan Parkinson (Dylan), Brianna Via, Courtney Every, Madison Rogers, Adam Rogers, Jed West and Bo West.
