It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cody Vernon Fleming (Boone, North Carolina), born in Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Terry L. Fleming, Jr.; his grandfathers, Jerry Vernon Fleming and Jerry D. Causby; and his aunt Deborah Hendrix. He is survived by: his parents, Terry Fleming and Regina Fleming; his daughter Laynie Jade Knox Fleming; his grandmothers, Iris Fleming and Ruby Causby; Felicia J. Knox. He is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins; and a wealth of friends.
