He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Hollar Greene; his parents, Ernest Greene and Hattie Greene; and his siblings, James Greene and Kathleen Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Gwen Honeycutt (Keith), Tony Greene (Terry), Tim Greene (April), Pam Greene (David Trudzinski) and Jeff Greene (Emily) of Boone; his grandchildren, Josh (Angela), Sheena, Seth (Maya), Kaley (Daniel), Autumn (Logan), Cameron, Sara Frances, Bryant, Jackson, Hattie Rose, Mitchell, Calvin, Margaret and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Quincy, Ember, Ellis, Brewer and Athena Grace; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Hollar Eller, Margaret W. Greene and Bob (Janette). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Praise Fund for future growth.
