It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Hicks (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Talbert Hicks and Lena Presnell Hicks; his son Talbert Hicks; and his siblings, Connor, Dallas Hicks and Betty Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife Levita Glenn Hicks; his daughter Grace Hicks Benenson (Matthew); his grandson Andrew Levi Beneson of Colfax, NC; his sister Lula Hatten of Statesville; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Hicks of Boone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
