It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earlene Miller Holaday of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Earlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Earlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Clint Miller and Suma Gay Proffitt Miller; her husband Harry Gene Holaday; and her sister Jewell Miller. She is survived by: her sister Faye Cline (Joe Ben) of Morganton; her brother-in-law Richard Holaday of Boone; and her aunt Jewell Thomas of Zionville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Proffit's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
