She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Hayes Houck; and her grandson Michael Zgieb. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Battle (David) of Hubert, NC, Wendell Houck (Gail Crider) of Hot Spring, NC, Chuck Houck (Bernadine) of West Jefferson and Holly Winkler (Jeff) of Boone, NC.; and her grandchildren, Josh Zgieb, Lacie Zgieb, Jennifer Swieter, Jessica Vaughan, Jake Houck, Christopher Poe and Jason Winkler. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
