She is survived by: her children, Judson, Tate, Julia and Marie; her niece Opal Elizabeth Vermillion (Jesse); her great-nieces, Abigail, Eleanor and Ruby Kathryn Nelson (Zackary); and her great-nephew Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Service (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
