It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hicks (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Douglas and Mattie Ragan Eggers; her husband Gary Hicks; her daughters, Erica Hicks (Chris) of Vilas and Kristy Hicks (Cole) of Vilas; her grandchildren, Austyn, Bailey, Makennah Norris, Kaisyn Miller, Oakley, Logan Hicks and Laikyn Poe; and her brother Robert Douglas Eggers (Judy) of Wilkesboro.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Chapel (194 Queen St, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hicks family to assist with expenses.
