It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank James Ward of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank James Ward to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bertie Alice Ward and Jesse James Ward. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Woodard Ward; his children, Michelle Alice Ward of Boone, Lisa Ann McCormick of Union and Timothy James Ward of Union; and his siblings, Judy Miller (J. W.) of Boone, Linda Baldwin of Mountain City, Tennessee, Steve Ward of Boone and Dean Ward (Betty) of Lenoir. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hampton Funeral & Cremation Service (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A reception was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
