She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Jones and Frances Arnold Jones; her husband Burl J. Greene, Sr.; her sons, J. B. Greene and Darrell Greene; and her siblings, Wilma Wilson, Louise Ragan, Harold Walter Jones, Roy Jones and Ted Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Lanetta Greene Byrd (Gary) of Marion, Bill Greene (Sherry) of Boone and Robert Greene (Renee) of Boone; her sisters, Shirley Salas of Los Angeles, California, Peggy Vannoy (James) of Vero Beach, Florida, Betty Austin of Boone, Wanda Proffit (Gary) of Boone and Sherry Pennell (Teddy) of Boone; and her grandchildren, Richele Connell (Matt), Kelly Greene, Kevin Greene (Vladina), Burl Greene (Jennifer), Brent Neaves (Jessica), Kim Greene (Ben), Heather Walsh (Jeremy), Keshia Brannock (Travis) and Stephanie Hamby (Josh). She is also survived by twenty four great-grandchildren.
