Grace Greene Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Greene (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Hayes and Blanche Williams Hayes; her husband J. D. Greene; her son Robert Greene; and her siblings, Faye Hayes Ragan, John Hayes, Lee Hayes and Jack Hayes.
She is survived by: her son Roger Greene (Anita); her grandchildren, Melissa Greene Vernon (Andy) of Mount Airy and Brian Greene of Mount Airy; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Hurt, Keaton Greene, Daniel Vernon and Matthew Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and her special friends and neighbors.
