He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Proffitt and Ray Trivette. He is survived by: his children, Denise Jones (Doug Jones) and Tony Trivette; his grandchildren, Anthony Trivette (Erica Trivette), Jacinda Jones, Joseph Jones (Megan Jones), Jordan Jones, Julie Haynes (Justin Haynes) and Daniel Jones; and his sisters, Evelyn Hicks of Boone, Doris Greer (Johnny Greer) of Boone, Barbara Ashley (Buddy Ashley) of Boone, Marilyn Watson of Boone and Juanita Miller of Boone. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
