She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Caroline Jacobs Bachman; her children, Barbara Henson (Dennis) of Mountain City, TN, Caroline Shockley of Vilas, Bob Barnes (Vivian) of Boone, Margaret Barnes of Boone and Shirley Miller (Walter) of Boone; her grandchildren, Allen Henson (Kelly), Shelia Swift (Greg), Bill Henson (Jennifer), David Shockley (Sarah), Melissa Cornett Nathan (Ricky), Diane Coffman, Scott Miller (Chika), Emily Cunningham (Justin) and Garret Miller; her husband Grady M. Barnes; and her grandson Marc Shockley. She was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

The family respectfully requests no food and suggests those in attendance to please wear a mask.
