C. Norris (Martha); his niece Ronetia Matheson; his nephews, Ronnie Matheson, Randy Skeens and Scott Norris; and his nephew-in-law Ben Chappell.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Thomas Michael Norris (Marie) and Anne Houck Norris of Boone; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Skeens of Blacksburg, VA, Dan Skeens of Dublin, VA, Brian Skeens (Angela) of Boone, Anita Chappell of Boone, Pam Moretz (David) of Boone, Debbie Wilson (Pete) of Boone, Kendall LaBrutto (Cam) of Boone and Kinsay Sand (Matt) of Asheville, NC..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Independent Baptist Church of Blowing Rock (603 Possum Hollow Rd, Blowing Rock, NC 28605). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Mount Lawn Memorial Park (521 Old East King St, Boone, NC 28607).
