He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thompson Smith, Sr. and Veo Smith; and his brothers, Tom Smith and Jerry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rickie Jane Smith; his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Smith; his grandchildren, Keiley Jane Alderson of Zionville and William Cody Alderson (Taylor Alderson) of Dunn; and his brother Johnnie Smith (JoAnne Smith) of Todd.
