Janet Kloda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Kloda (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helena Adele and Maurice Harding Hall; her husband Adam G. Kloda; her daughter Deborah L. Hitchcock; and her sisters, Katherine VanFleet, Lois Hall, Wilma Jones, Evelyn Hall and Bernice DeDio.
She is survived by: her sister Esther Rowlands of Stroudsburg, PA.; her daughters, Phyllis Kloda and Michele Kloda; her granddaughters, Kimberly Harris, Alena Dastur and Reyna Dastur; her great grandchildren, Katie, Juliana, Zachary and Jed Turner; Simon Pepler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In celebration of her devotion to nature and her Episcopal faith, donations may be made in her name to The Waterman Conservation Education Center 403 Hilton Rd., Apalachin, NY or to St. Marks Church 728 River Road, Chenango Bridge, NY.
