With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Wagner Ray of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wagner and Mary Wagner; and her sister-in-law Patsy Ray Welborn. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Ray; her children, Scott Ray (Kristi) and Lynne Ray (Frank Fawcett); her siblings, Lynne Mauney (Charles), Kaye Morgan and Mark Wagner; her brother-in-law John Wayne Welborn; and her grandchildren, Davis, Owen, Gabrielle, Jack, Harrison, Claire, Stella and Clay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church of Boone, NC.
