He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wilson and Frances Gragg Wilson; his son Jerry Ray Wilson; his siblings, Hazel Huffman, Clarence and Earl Wilson; his parents-in-law, Marvin Hal and Mabel Bowman; and his half-siblings, Zola Corser, Norman and Homer Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bowman Wilson; his children, Jenny Wilson of Blowing Rock and William Dexter Wilson of Ohio; his grandchildren, Jayden Stirton of Blowing Rock, Kenzie Isaacs of Blowing Rock and Logan Ray Isaacs of Blowing Rock; his siblings, Ronald Wilson (Linda) of Mountain City, TN, Lois Jestes of North Wilkesboro, Lena Combs of Vilas, Elizabeth Carter (Mike) of Boone and Blanche Jones of North Wilkesboro; and his brother-in-law Bill Bowman of Sparta.
