He was predeceased by: his mother Patsy Greer of Boone. He is survived by: his wife Helena Becker Greer of Boone; his son Tyler Greer of Raleigh; his father Joseph Greer of Boone; his sisters, Karen Greer of Boone and Rita Isoma of Asheboro; and his nieces, Larita Cowan of Asheboro and Lashae Norris of Tennessee. He is also survived by his family, friends, customers, neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 7031 (144 Vfw Dr, Boone, NC 28607).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
