He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Shelia Perry; his siblings, Theda Lail, Myrtle Calhoun, Odell Perry and Joe Perry; and his brothers-in-law, William Thomas and Willard Lail.
He is survived by: his wife Lindel Miller Perry of Boone; his children, Leigh Ann Perry of Boone, Nathan Perry of Boone and Shawn Perry of Boone; his sister Marsha Thomas of Silverstone; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Perry of Asheville and Chester Calhoun of Raleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
