Linda Brown Obituary

We announce the death of Linda Brown (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 78. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Linda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her mother Gloria Townsend. She is survived by: her father James Hunter (Mary); her children, Jason Younce (Charlotte) and Sarah Gilliam (William); her grandchildren, Riley Younce, Maddie and Wyatt Gilliam; and her siblings, Edward Hunter, Donna Russo and Dennis Hunter. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
