She is survived by: her husband Patrick McConkey of Boone; her daughters, Nikki Slade (David Smith) of Boone and Sarah Lafaille of Boone; her grandsons, Eli Slade of Boone and Jaydon Lafaille-Ward of Boone; her sons, Josh McConkey of Boone and Tim McConkey (Sherrill Fox) of Asheville; Robin Combs, Joby Alexander, Dennis Holt of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Priscilla, Dave Grey of Boone and Florence Lesser.
