It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mellott Faust (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Miss Elsie Faust; and his siblings, Margaret and Curtis. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Gordon, Herbert and Willie James; his wife Minister Brenda Ervin Faust; his sons, Richard Faust (Ja'net) of Greensboro, NC and Shawn Parks (Holly) of Jefferson, NC; his sisters, Ms Rosemary White of Charlotte, NC and Ms Richardean Lish; his grandchildren, Gianni, Timpani Scales, Carla Johnson, Braden Kniox and Jordan Parks; and his great grandchild Melanie Scales. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
