He is survived by : his parents, Buddy Wood and Ellen Wood of Boone; his sisters, Dr. Celeste Sloop (Chip) of Durham, Kate Beason (Jeff) and Shauna Austin of Boone; his mother-in-law Delores Henson Banner; and his sisters-in-law, Tina Gragg (Jimmy) and Mitzi Bunton (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
