He is survived by: his children, Marie Winebarger (Robert), Ronald Padgett (Lisa), Neil Padgett, Jr. (Melodie), Thurman Padgett, Scott Padgett and Andrew Padgett; his grandchildren, Stephanie Rawls, Matthew Winebarger, Grace Winebarger, Faith Padgett Cooke (Justin) and Nathaniel Padgett; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Uziah and Noah; and his brother-in-law Gus Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
