She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Johnson and Selma Baird Johnson; and her brother Joe Johnson. She is survived by : her siblings, Nell Johnson of Boone and R. C. Johnson of Boone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherwood Baptist Church, 142 Done Hayes Road, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
