He was predeceased by: his sister Bobbi. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Greene Butler; his daughters, Chelsey Rapp (Davis) of Bend and Chandler Hofe (Hans Tyler) of Avon; and his sisters, Gay Murphy (Gary) of Raleigh and Jo Balcome (Tom) of Raleigh.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Boone United Methodist Church (471 New Market Blvd, Boone, NC 28607).
