He was predeceased by: his pet Jasmine. He is survived by: his son Jackson Brawley-Leon of Boone; his parents, Orlando Leon of Miami, Florida and Barbara Leon of Boone; and his siblings, Annie Leon-Puig (Danny) of Miami, Florida and Orlando R. Leon (Tonya) of Boone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watauga Humane Society or the Hospitality House.
