He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Horton Jr. and Hallie Hatton Horton; and his uncle David Horton. He is survived by: his siblings, Greg', Greg Horton (Theresa) and Jessie Horton Folk (Dana); his uncle Rev. Morris Hatton (Donna); his nieces, Tania Horton and Ashley Whittington; his nephew Jeremy Whittington; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zephyr, Jamison, Aiszah and Hallie Whittington; and his close friend Deana Braswell.
