She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Moretz; her mother Barbara Presnell; and her brothers, Billy Presnell, Bobby Presnell and Scottie Presnell.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Scott Moretz (Sydney) of Hawaii, Samantha Moretz Banks (Marc) of Lenoir and Megan Moretz Hudson (Brandon) of Boone; her grandchildren, Abigail Hudson, Juliet Banks and Michael Hudson; her father Floyd Presnell (Louise) of Granite Falls; and her siblings, Kathy Pennell (Rick) of Fleetwood, David Presnell of Boone, Steve Presnell of Boone and Chris Presnell of Ohio. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family respectfully requests no food or flowers and suggest memorials be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
