It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Thomas Graybeal of Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hamilton and June Robinson Thomas; her husband Paul Graybeal; and her siblings, Blanche Thomas Isaacs, Nena Thomas Snyder, Ruby Thomas Oliver, Jasper Lee Thomas, Grant Hobert Thomas and Emma Thomas Warren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
