He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronda Earp and Gertie Earp; his granddaughter Victoria Lynn Earp; his brothers, Raymond, Robert, Dewey, Jack and Johhny Earp; his parents-in-law, Stacy and Hazel Tester; and his son-in-law Tom Speed.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Tester Earp of Boone; his children, Sara Speed of Boone and Len Earp (Maria) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his granddaughter Zoe Grace Earp of Leland; his sister Mary Stansbery (Edward) of Mount City; and his sister-in-law Judy Stanbery of Boone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brushy Fork Baptist Church (3915 US-421, Vilas, NC 28692). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
