He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemon Triplett and Pearl Triplett; his son Jonathan Michael Triplett; his grandson Michael Dane Triplett; and his siblings, Gene, George, Tom, Terry Triplett, Luther Smith, Doris Yates, Shirley Watson, Jane McLean and Callie Coffey.
He is survived by: his wife Ardna Graybeal Triplett; his siblings-in-law, Lois Triplett and Albert McLean; his nephew Jerry Smith of Raleigh; and his pet Maxwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews; and his constant companion.
