He was predeceased by : his parents, Grover L. Minter and Mary Smith Minter; and his brother Rodger L. Minter (Kitty). He is survived by : his wife Janet L. Minter; his children, Christopher N. Minter (Kara) of Newton, NC, Michael S. Minter (Tina) of Newland, NC and Melissa M. Setzer (Jeff) of Hickory, NC.; his stepsons, Daniel Lea, Joel Denson, Andrew Denson and Kevin Denson; his siblings, Brenda Cobb (Jim), Debbie Bryant, Rhonda Adkins, Dennis Minter (Jackie) and Kevin Minter (Bo); his grandchildren, Will, Violet Minter, Justin Davis, Parker, Tripp Minter, Ashley Loggins, Julie, Abby, Bella Ostwalt and Emma Setzer; and his stepgrandson Zayn Lea.
