He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Hampton of Boone, Calista Rutherford (Patrick) of Thomasville and Thomas Lynn Critcher (Dina) of Boone; his daughter-in-law Beth Critcher of Boone; his siblings, Dwight Critcher of Deep Gap, Faye Castor of Cary and Margaret Cook (Roger) of Boone; his brother-in-law Dudley Norris (Judy) of Bethel; his grandchildren, Justin Critcher of Boone, Dale Clontz of Lenoir, Luke Critcher of Weaverville, Adam Madson (Brittany) of Wasilla, Alaska, Haley Shields (Trevor) of Winston-Salem, Wilson Critcher (Lily) of Boone, Lillie Grace Critcher of Boone and Callie Critcher of Boone; and his great grandchildren, Kya, Kian, Danny, Molly, Maverick, Maggie, Mac, Calista, Tennyson, Roland and Alaric.
