She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Talmadge and Nellie Harmon Rominger; her husband Mack Donald May; her grandson Benjamin Trivette; and her siblings, Pauline Presnell, Donley, Roy, Dewey and Smith Rominger.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Sue Trivette, Minnie Pauline Freeman (Darren) and Benny May (Dawn) of Vilas; her siblings, Minnie Presnell of Asheboro and Paul Rominger (Maybelle) of Cambridge, Ohio; and her grandsons, Dennis Dollar, John May, Wesley and James Moretz.
