He was predeceased by : his former wife Judith LeShanna Barber; his parents, Howard Barber (Red) and Eleanor Barber; and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Fehrs. He is survived by : his wife Mickie S. Barber; his daughters, Lawson Evrenidis (Basil) of Pittsboro, NC and Lesley Toutain (Stephan) of West Hartford, CT; his step-children, Justin Parlier (Amy) of Boone, NC and Natasha Beachum (Jerry) of Monroe, NC; his grandchildren, Jonathon Powell, Ashley Powell, Chloe Toutain, Winston Toutain, Loic Toutain, Brandy Shook, Derik Beachum (Alexis) and Jake Beachum; and his sisters, Ann Foust of Charlotte, NC and Joan Davis (Dave) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
