He is survived by: his children, Abel Salazar, Cruz Salazar, Abby Salazar and Diana Salazar; his grandchildren, Adrian of Brianna, A. J., Alliana, Alex and Ava; and his siblings, Emma Salazar, Hermina Salazar, Arturo Salazar, Fernando Salazar, Efrain Salazar, Pedro Salazar and Israel Salazar.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church (209 Lon Ave, Boonville, NC 27011). Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055).
