He is survived by: his children, Derek Smith (Karen), Kelly Welborn (Mike) and Kristen "Kristy" Davis; his grandchildren, Chandler Russell (Kailub), McKinnon Welborn (Carly), Hunter Michael (Layne), Gatlin Welborn (Maggie), Easton Smith (Kaitlyn), Sawyer Davis (Kayla Carter) and Denver Davis; his great grandchildren, Krue Russell, Colyns Russell, Keelan Russell, Barrett Welborn, Lynden Welborn, Gaines Welborn, Madden Michael, Court Michael, Maya Welborn, Skipper Smith and Keagan Davis; his sister Kathryne Powers; and his caregivers, Judy, Susie, Stephanie, Kawana, Michelle, Kathy and Tabitha. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
