She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Melvin Langhurst and Mildred Boston Langhurst; and her brother Wylie "Buddy" Langhurst II. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Hobson (Rodney), James Morelli and Catherine Taylor (Scott); her grandchildren, Michelle Nash (Brian Sizemore), Salina Everhart (Robbie) and Brandon Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Swaim, Tanner Gordon, Braxton Everhart and Eli Everhart.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (3808 Center Rd, Boonville, NC 27011). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Forsyth Memorial Park (3815 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
