It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Wilson Driver of Boonville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Franklin Driver and Lessie Combs Driver; and his siblings, Albert Driver (Peggy), Junior Driver (Helen), Henry Driver (Margaret), Lorene Murphy (Thad), Katie Hollyfield (Robert) and Dorothy Weldy (Junior).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hamlin Driver; his children, Steve Driver and Jill Driver Perkins; his grandson Lucas Perkins (Rebecca Ladd); and his sister Inez Tilley (Ted). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Baptist Church (1500 Charity Church Rd, Boonville, NC 27011).
