She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haskel Whitaker and Clara Belle Underwood Whitaker; her husband Roy "Verne" Harrison; and her brothers, Bill Whitaker and Miles "Ray" Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Murphy (John, Jr.) and Timothy Harrison (Amy); her grandchildren, Julia Murphy, John Murphy III and Amanda Streetman (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Harrison Streetman and Benjamin Streetman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
